1. Do not Think About it as Hard Work

As per my own experience, there is only one way for me to motivate to hard work & that is , ‘I don’t think about it as hard work’. I think of it as part of myself into who I need to be. Once I have made the choices to do something, I try not to think so much about how impossible or difficult or frustrating that may be; I just think about how better it should feel to be like that, or how proud I may be to have it completed. Make hard look easy. – ‘swami vivekananda‘.

2. Create Small Goals

There is a reason holes in donut are so lovable. They are easy to have it. Before you know it, you have eaten a lot of them. This is how goals should be also. Of course you should have a big and bold goals. However ensure you break that goal into consumable small-sized goals. This way you will feel like you are making progress in your long journey and you will also feel a sense of accomplishment when you done the bit-sized goals. A feeling of progress and achievement is a beautiful combination.

3. Read Daily

Ensure you hack out some time in your day routine, for reading. It’s better to read in the early mornings and Read for 1 hr. a day at least. If that is much, start with 20-25 minutes and make reading habit for one month. Believe me, reading is the quickest way to success. It will make reading an extremely fun, a breeze, and rewarding. Mostly, the successful people in all over the world credit their success to reading a lot of books. Like, Ratan Tata, Bill Gates, Elon Musk and Warren Buffet.

4. Thing That Doesn’t Matter, Stop Caring About It

Doing stuff that doesn’t mean anything sometime cost us a ton of mental energy. Observe your to-do list, find out tasks you know that you really don’t care about, and get rid of as many of these tasks as possible. Moderately, You will stay more motivated if you are working on activities that are essentially meaningful or are part of a larger goal.

5. Set a Quit Time

Entrepreneurs tend to stray from the usual 8 to 5 work day, and global accessibility through Microsoft Teams and emails makes it more easy to have a 24-hour work day. However, it is very important to know when it is is enough. For yourself, ensure to set a quitting time realistically, and stick to it throughout the week for a month at least. You should stop answering emails after 7 PM IST, and take weekly Saturday Sundays off. You will feel more productive and refreshed when you allow yourself some work free time.

6. Just Do It

To get motivated the most effective advice for me is to just do it. As soon as you think something needs to be completed, jump into it, immediately do it. You should not think about anything else, destroy other thoughts, keep your mind empty, act like a machine. Yes, it sounds very strange, but it works, believe me! Or else, you will be in confusion whether to do it right now or there are too many problems with doing it, there are other more pleasurable & exciting things to do over this boring activities.

7. Celebrate Wins

Initiate recognizing all the good activities. I meant, how often do you scold yourself for doing something minor that was not good? How many time do you think the good things such as being on time or signing a new client, are simply how it is meant to be? You should think of more winning movements in your life. This will motivate you, encourage you, and help you to know how excellent you truly are.

If you are continuously waiting for a long-term payoff, you forget how crucial and difficult all the small wins were and it can be challenging to stay motivated if there is no privilege & honors in that. Treat yourself with small success and do not misjudge yourself how gratifying it can feel to acknowledging even if it is a small Success.
